We’ve been chosen! Xero’s Partner of the month: October

Every month Xero  recognises one of their  600+ app partners for their contribution and the great work they are doing to help businesses thrive.

This month, it’s simPRO!

Our integration with Xero, seven years ago, was a big step in achieving the success that we experience today with third party integrations. It offered up an opportunity for trade contractors in Australia, the US, the UK and New Zealand to achieve a cost effective, seamless and time-saving end-to-end business solution that works with the growth of a trade company.

Xero's General Manager of Ecosystems said: "We're pleased to award SimPRO our App Partner of the Month. SimPRO has been in our ecosystem since 2010, are active in supporting our accountants and bookkeepers, and is one of our most popular workflow and project management solutions for construction and trades. " Nick Houldsworth, GM of Ecosystem Xero

The integration

simPRO job management software helps trade businesses work smarter, provide exceptional service, and maximises profitability. It can streamline a business’s entire workflow, from estimating to service delivery and payment processing. It can also keep cash flow transparent.

simPRO’s integration with Xero is particularly special with the option to not only push information from simPRO to Xero but also to pull information on payments from Xero back to simPRO. This functionality, which can be enabled in simPRO settings, allows users to see if invoices have been paid from within simPRO.

By having all these processes automated with simPRO and Xero, business owners have the time to focus on growing their business. Staff productivity will improve which will also allow the business to take on more jobs and bill for more hours.

Why Xero?

Many trade businesses already use Xero, and by integrating with simPRO, trade businesses can streamline their processes resulting in growth and profitability. Together, simPRO and Xero become a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for trade businesses. General Manager of simPRO Australia, Mark Alfred says:

“Xero is our largest accounting partner and our relationship has helped both of our businesses and the trade businesses who trust our service, grow from strength to strength. We look forward to many more years of partnership success”

The benefits of the integration include:

  • Syncing of customer and supplier details

  • Transfer of payments between simPRO and Xero, and vice versa

  • Reduced administration time

  • Lower risk of double-entry

  • Easy accounts and data management

  • Availability of data online
