Latest simPRO update: reports revisited

by Sian Scott
January 6, 2017

Welcome to another year of simPRO! In our first update to simPRO Service and Enterprise for the year, rolling out from January 8, we’ve revisited one of the most powerful and useful features in our software: reports.

Read on for more details, or head to our release notes for an in-depth video.

A refreshed layout, and most common reports

The reports in simPRO can help you gain a competitive edge, providing visibility of your business and helping you understand where you’re making – or losing – money.

They’re now even easier to use with a refreshed, user-friendly layout.

Not sure where to start? Take your pick from the new list of the most commonly used reports.

So that’s what that report is for!

Learn about the reports you didn’t even know you needed with our new report descriptions, giving you a concise breakdown of what each report does and what it’s good for – so you can start understanding your business even better.

Clearer employee report names

The reports under the former Employee category have been renamed and reshuffled so it’s clearer which employees your reports are about. Reports from that category are now found under Staff and Technicians.

Staff reports look at actions performed in simPRO by your employees, such as modifying jobs and quotes or emailing invoices to customers; while with the Technician reports you can monitor actual works completed and jobs and quotes by your field staff and contractors.

This is one of our regular software updates, aimed at bringing in new features and improving existing features in response to client feedback, and making sure our software helps our clients stay ahead of the game as the trade and technology landscapes continue to evolve.

Remember, if you have an idea you’d like us to consider, head on over to our Ideas Portal to make your voice heard.

      Hi Matthew,

Thanks for your comment. Our updates are (in most cases) rolled out on a Sunday (in AEST), and our clients will be updated on any given day during the week following. This staggered method of updating ensures as smooth a release as possible!

From our next release, rolling out shortly, we’ll be notifying you twice in your simPRO system — the first announcement will let you know a release is on its way, and then the second will let you know when your system has been updated.

      Kind regards,

      simPRO Software.
